Jago Smith

Jago Smith was born in England but has spent the majority of his life in British Columbia, Canada. At the age of six, he was given his first camera, and he hasn’t been able to put one down since. Jago’s camera has accompanied him to 40 countries, capturing everything from icebergs in Iceland and sandstorms in the Sahara to breaching humpback whales in Martinique. His passion for storytelling led him to Capilano University, where he pursued studies in documentary filmmaking. With a keen eye for detail and an adventurous spirit, Jago continues to document the world’s wonders, blending his love for photography and film with his dedication to unearthing and sharing compelling narratives.
